Summer Fun Days

We have been having a great summer together.  Lots of camps and fun.  Erin and Jeff have both had scout camps as well as sport camps (Basketball for J and Volleyball for E).  Despite the heat we have hit King's Dominion several times also.

So here are 10 photos from this summer showing off lots of the fun we've been having.

Starting with one of my favorite pictures of Erin playing with her Grandpa in the pool just this weekend.  In our house take 14 parts family, add one pool and a bunch of squirters and mats and you have the recipe for a fantastic afternoon.

Both kids have shed their training wheels this summer and are having an absolute blast when they get a chance to ride around at Noni's or Grandma's.

While waking up every Saturday morning at 5:50 to get ready for a group training run for our Women's Four Miler might not be everyone's cup of tea, Erin and I have had a blast beating the pavement all summer.

Working together to paint their wooden projects they've built with daddy in the workshop which has seen more use than usual this summer.

This year, she had to crack the crabs herself.  The pride on her face after getting a great piece of meat shows it all.

We escaped to the mountains for a quick weekend trip and enjoyed a hike to one of the many waterfalls we have right in our back yard.

You've got to admit.  One of the best things about summer is sleeping in.   Taking over mommy and daddy's bed just makes it better.

There's a little guy under there with some black shorts getting absolutely soaked.

My boys got a new toy this summer and we have been really enjoying what has been coming off the grill.

What says summer fun more than flying through the air ready to splash down in Grandpa's pool.  Thanks for the flight daddy.
